Teaching Evaluations

Throughout my time teaching at the university, I had to learn a lot to become a good lecturer. I've read all the feedback I have received from my students and questioned my teaching approaches. But the struggle was worth it. Below, you find some anonymous comments from my students on my teaching over the last four years that I downloaded from our evaluation site and made into images using my Python script. This is why most of the comments are in German and some have typos. Further below, you will find my average evaluations over the last five years compared to the averages from the faculty I work with.

What the averages do not show is how I improved over time. At the beginning, my overall evaluations were at around 86%. In the last three terms, my evaluations were (compared to average values at the faculty in brackets): 97.7% (86.5%), 93.3% (86.4%), 97.9% (83.9%)
